Our mission is simple: make the journey legible. Someone flying for the first time and someone rebooking a missed connection need the same thing — clear, ordered, accurate information from a source with nothing to sell them.
Useful before impressive
Every page has to answer a question someone is actually asking, usually while tired and standing in a queue.
Independent of the industry
We do not sell flights, hotels or insurance, and we take no commission on anything we describe.
Honest about limits
Rules vary by airline, airport and passport. Where that is true, we say so instead of pretending otherwise.
Calm by design
Travel problems are stressful enough. Our pages are structured so the first thing you read is the first thing to do.
02Editorial approach
Guides are written from operational sources: airline conditions of carriage, airport authority documentation, national passenger-rights regulations and civil aviation guidance. Where a rule varies, we describe the pattern and tell you where to confirm it.
Nothing here is paid placement. We do not accept payment for inclusion, and we do not run affiliate links in article bodies.
Pages are reviewed on a rolling schedule and corrected when readers report errors. Photography is licensed for commercial use and credited to its rights holders.
